Get to know the Eco Friendly Mom
Hi, I'm Cheryl Cross and my goal is to help others live a more eco friendly lifestyle. I want to make transitioning to this type of lifestyle as easy as possible. As a mom I know how valuable our time is and we can't always spend hours researching and checking ingredient labels making sure companies claiming to be "all natural" and "organic" are actually telling the truth. This is where I hope my blog can help.
As long as I can remember I have been passionate about the environment, which drove me to receive a degree in environmental science. But like most college graduates I entered the job market unable to find a career in my degree. Regardless I still had to pay my student loans, so I used my high school html skills to land me my first gig working on websites. This ended up transpiring into a job in marketing and now as a Digitial Marketing Manager. While I enjoy the testing and experimental portion of my job my passion for the environment has been nagging at me. At the last company, I worked for I was able to satisfy my passion by joining the sustainability group. During my time in the group, we educated people in the company about sustainability and implemented single stream recycling. Since then I have been missing that outlet, which is the main reason for starting my very first blog. I'm so inspired by so many companies who are making a difference and refusing to use harmful chemicals.

This term most commonly refers to products that contribute to green living or practices that help conserve resources like water and energy. Eco-friendly products also prevent contributions to air, water and land pollution. I have been passionate about the environment, which drove me to receive a degree in environmental science.
